Description
Compared to Johnson & Johnson's "First-Aid Travelkit," this medical kit includes additional equipment for more extensive care. The contents are kept together in a large wooden box held securely by two gold metal clasps. Most notably, this case is made distinct by the letters "BC" painted on the right and a large "4" painted on the left. These features suggest that the box was part of a collection of medical kits used at the dam site or a nearby hospital in town. The immense dangers posed to construction workers at the Hoover Dam necessitated easy access to medical equipment such as this portable kit.
